Sandy Miller - President
I live on Old Farm Road with my husband, Dale. What started out as a weekend retreat in 2006, is now our full time residence and horse farm. I became a board member in 2011 and served as Treasurer, Community Building and Sustaining Committee Chairperson and Architectural Control Committee Chairperson before transitioning into the position of President in 2017. I am proud to serve on the board of directors and help preserve the wilderness quality of Folmont while balancing the development of a growing community.
Michael McGrady - Vice President & Director
My family and I own our “mountain home” on N. Folino Road. We enjoy cross country skiing, fishing, hiking and hunting. I joined the board in 2017 and enjoy working with the Folmont property owners and board members to improve and preserve Folmont for future generations.
Rob Lusk - SECRETARY & Director
I am originally from Ventura County, California. I came to Pennsylvania for college and liked it so much I never left. I received my B.S from Penn State in Forest Science in 2014 and my M.S. in Agroforestry from the University of Missouri in 2016. I currently work for the PA Bureau of Forestry where I focus on diseases and insects that impact the health of the forest. My fiancé and I moved to Folmont in September of 2016 as full time residents and could not be happier here. In my free time I can usually be found in the woods hunting or fishing.
Ron Sehn - Director
Having been born in Johnstown, PA, and raised in Somerset County, I had fished along the Breastworks Trout Stream since the time I was a boy. After spending many years living in Michigan, my wife, Sue, and I moved to Folmont in 2003 and live along that same stream on New Baltimore Road. I began serving as Chairperson of the Architectural Control Committee in 2004 and a few years later became a Director and Board Member. I continue to serve on the Board as Vice President and Director of the Common Areas of Folmont. I became interested in the historical value of Folmont, especially Fort Dewart and Miller’s Tavern. I joined the Board to help preserve the beauty, the uniqueness and the history of Folmont. I feel it’s important for people to “get involved” in their communities. I also serve as a Deacon and Trustee of the Central City Christian Church.
Peter Walsh - director
My wife Carole and I were one of the first residents of Folmont. We completed building and became part time residents in 1980. Over the years, I have seen the Folmont community grow every year. We became full time residents in 2017. I’ve worked in telecommunications for 25 years and then switched careers and became a registered nurse. I served on the Board as Treasurer for three years. I look forward to serving on the Board once again. I hope to be able share my ideas with the Board officers to help our community continue to grow not only in new property owners but in service to everyone living in Folmont now.
